Pringle Park Spots

I started in the western world with a Palouse Pony, PRINGLE PARK SPOTS, a little leopard pony that we showed for many year with great success Multi CHAMPION awards in Palouse and open pony classes even showed him in harness, Spotty was the first Palouse to show at Sydney Royal and turned plenty off heads 'oh no a coloured pony out beating the studbook & welsh ponies in harness' they were the fun days.

Jo Banner

Toledo Joe

My first paint horse was a black and white stallion, TOLEDO JOE, which I purchased from a friend back in the late 80’s, I  only showed him lightly and used him to cover a few of my QH mares.

Which resulted with the well known stallion JOE BANNER, I decided to keep him and campaigned him with great success.
He took out Multi State and National Champion halter WON his 2yr PHAA western pleasure FUTURITY, 3yr Bridle Path Hack FUTURITY, WON the VERSATILITY STAKES, he REINED and even started CUTTING - WOW he was an extremely VERSATILE horse!

Having sold JOE BANNER late 90’s the time had come to find another great horse, I not only wanted a good looker, but wanted a horse that had great bloodlines and was bred to be versatile.

Rj Ransom (IMP)

The hunt was on whilst surfing the net and the American Paint site I came across RJ RANSOM  it was like an instant 'I want him'. Well I got him- I imported RJ in 2001, started his show career in 2002 and to date he is undefeated at Halter winning MULTI State and National Champion at Halter Multi Futurity Winner and has gone on himself to produce State, National and International Champions.

In January 08 I sold RJ, I have kept some of his progeny and I am currently building my broodmare band, who knows what is around the corner- maybe I will get the urge to own another great stallion or I may just breed my mares out.

I have bred a few QH’s  including the National Champion  “Pretty Cool Ha"- I have a ½ sister to him in foal to DMB INTIMIDATOR due August  2010.

The Caicos Kid (IMP)

Well time off from owning a stud horse and the hunt was back on, of course the future sire had to be something special had big shoes to follow, he had to pretty and correct enough to halter but also wanted him to be a versatile horse and ride.

Well after a fair bit of searching and a few road trips I went for a visit to Coronation Park- where I came across THE CAICOS KID (imp) aka ‘PAXTON’.

I always have the thought you must like the horse at first site, no good if you have to talk yourself into it. Paxton just had that WOW factor and boy talk about move! I am sure he should produce some pretty awesome riders as well as halter horses, he just has that look at me presence, so the new journey has started, THE CAICOS KID imp has found  his new home here at MK QUARTER HORSES.
